Drywall
in Vermont

Smooth walls, tight corners, and a Level 5 finish when you need it. New construction, renovation, and repairs — executed by a crew that doesn't take shortcuts.

What We Do

Smooth walls.
Zero shortcuts.

Bad drywall shows. Shadows at raking light, butt joints that telegraph through paint, corners that aren't square — these are the marks of a rushed crew. Rivers Construction tapes and finishes to a standard you won't notice, which is exactly the point. We do it so well you forget it's even there.

New Construction Hang & Finish

Full drywall installation for new builds and additions. We work with your framing timeline and deliver a finish ready for paint — no second trips, no callbacks.

02

Taping & Finishing

Three-coat finish work with proper feathering and sanding. We finish to Level 4 standard on all walls, Level 5 available for gloss-painted or high-sheen surfaces.

03

Repairs & Patch Work

Water damage, holes, failed tape, and texture matching. We repair drywall so the patch is invisible — not just filled and painted over.

Our Standard

The finish that
makes the room.

Step 01

Hang to Spec

Sheets hung perpendicular to framing, staggered butt joints, screws dimpled not overdriven. The foundation of a great finish starts at the hang — not the tape coat.

Step 02

Three-Coat Finish

Tape coat, filler coat, and finish coat — each allowed to dry fully before the next. No speed-dry shortcuts that cause cracking. Properly blocked and flat every time.

Step 03

Sand-Ready Delivery

We leave your walls smooth, primed, and ready for paint. No ridges, no trowel marks, no butt joints you'll see in morning light two months later.
